I can't even believe this happened. I've been enjoying the show Reboot but last night I saw an episode where a person was having trouble with his lines and the writer calls him "The King's Speech" behind his back. My blood boiled. I tweeted about it as I have so many times in the past to call out shows & movies for normalizing the mocking of stutterers. I never expected a response. I got a response from the Creator of the show & he also created so many other shows that I love. I am floored that he took my message to heart. We have been heard!!! Please don't hesitate to call out things like this. You will be ignored most of the time but there is always a chance that you will get through to someone. It only takes 1 person who listens to start raising awareness & move toward positive change. Much love to you all today as we prepare for ISAD 2022!!
