Thank you for sharing. I, a 41 yr old male, have had a very similar experience with Lexapro/Cipralex (10 mg). Prozac was one of the first SSRIs, if I'm not mistaken, definitely before Cipralex came out. This medication is life altering for ppl with anxiety issues which are real and may lead to depressive episodes, but the term "depression" seems to have taken over all mental issues. So what I realized was that the boost in confidence (at least after 6 months on one consistent dose, very important, imo) helped me a lot. learnt a bit from the web on "physical blocking" of the body that actually causes the stuttering and how to resolve them and when I even stutter, I have enough self confidence that I would be able to express my self and don't get stuck on the word as I would. Wouldn't say it's just the meds but... (Note: We are not doctors, just sharing our experiences)
