Need help overcoming particular words Hey guys, I have a subtle to moderate stutter. It's not so much a stutter in the traditional sense, but more so a block. A lot of times I have trouble saying words like disappear, disability or 'di' words in general. Other letters I have trouble with is the letter 'g'. I am currently in a play for my Uni and my character has an abundance of words that I find difficult saying. Luckily we have not gone over the second act yet (which has the hardest words) but this act is proving to be difficult as well. I always screw up and have troubles saying the word "gunman" and it's super embarrassing because i take a long pause between the word before gunman and gunman. It's really annoying because I don't block when i go through a run through alone, or with family or with my girlfriend. I know I overthink it and that's when it happens. On some days my stutter (or block) is almost non-existent and I can say most words confidently, but this is killing me. I dread rehearsals and get so anxious going. Any tips? P.S we can't change the wording of the play since we have acquired the rights and they don't allow changes of words (if they do its 5% max).
