It really doesn’t matter I promise you. Had a stutter since I was 4 and now I’m 16, I’ve always had friends since kindergarten so I never had to worry about the friends part of a stutter, it was only ever about the people part. For the longest time people would have to just sit there through my words and nothings coming out. But around when highschool started, I’m not sure what happened but I just started to talk to more people all the time and my stutter was still very much there, but I would find clever ways to mask it. I also worked at a job where my last name was very respected (uncles owned the place and my brother was the chef) and I was nervous thinking every one would make fun of me because people who work in kitchens are some different kind of crazy and thought I’d be a laughing stock. But I went in it head first and everything was better than I could’ve though. I’m working another job now and no matter where you work or what you do people will except you no matter what, you’re just another person like them, but you may just talk a little differently.
