I have this same issue a lot with a mild stutter moderate to mild stutter. I stuggle saying 'ga' sounds (ex: google) at the start of words as well as other certain sounds. Sometimes I find it at least helps with the confidence to be alone and just say the word over and over again. Maybe start by saying it in different voices and facial expressions (I find cartoonish expressions to work best for some reason) then work towards the regular pronunciation. Don't know if it actually helps, I'm no SLP but I do that sometimes. Good luck with your play!
