“Mate” is a gag worthy term. Please never use that around women It seems like you glossed over a pretty important part of my comment. I can’t “pick” anybody like you say (also, what an obnoxious sentiment. Interest has to be mutual. When it’s mutual, men are “picking” me just as much as I am “picking” them), because men are their own people and not desperate enough to decide they want to live the rest of their life with a random girl just because she “chose” them. Most people, men and women, do not like stutters. I’ve befriended men and women, and tried to get closer to other men I was romantically interested in, but a lot of them have walked away because my stutter was a big problem and they didn’t want to talk with somebody who was constantly breaking the flow of the conversation. It doesn’t *matter* who I approach. People literally lose interest (yes, men too) when they see something they don’t like. I mean this genuinely, but you need a reality check. This mindset isn’t healthy for you and will only harm you. Please try to befriend some women in real life. I’m friends with a guy who used to think like you, but after befriending me and other girls, he realized he was wrong.
