Just showing up and pushing forward already sets you apart. Now, on your goal to hit $400K TC by 40—it’s an ambitious target, and I respect the drive. That said, pivoting into a high-paying finance role from your current path can be tough, especially since your experience has been in a different lane. You might want to consider going for an MBA. It can give you the industry exposure, network, and credibility you need to break into the kind of roles that offer both impact and serious upside. There are also great pre-MBA programs—like the UCLA Riordan Program—that can help you explore if that path is right before making the leap.
