Paradoxical preparation I’ve read victor frankel’s “man’s search for meaning” and in his book he talks about logo therapy which means therapy by finding meaning. And in there he states a method called paradoxical preparation. A method That a helps a person overcome a difficulty of him by that person exaggerating his difficulty and setting a certain goal with a good intent but so called “bad result”. For instance, in the case of stuttering it will be something like this. “I’m about to make a speech in front of 300 people, I will show them how much I can stutter, they will be amazed”. -this “solution” is stated to be a short term solution for one’s difficulty.
