Any web developers on here?

Any web developers on here? Hi guys and gals, Bit of a niche question but does anyone with a stammer work in web development, and how much does it impact your work and opportunities? I've been thinking about getting out of my boring admin job and looking into web development or maybe e-learning design - but I'm aware a significant portion of that involves talking to clients about design requirements and demands regular contact. Have you been able to get away with using written communications to plan projects? Much appreciated!
