I didn't start openly telling people until college. Wish I had done it since 4th or 5th grade. The feeling of not hiding something anymore is incredible. Yeah my buddy's joke was such a full circle feeling. It's like he knew before me that I had reached a point where I could finally just laugh about it every once in a while.
