When you stutter it naturally makes people pay attention to you in a different way than others. Stuttering makes you stand out because everyone basically stops what they are doing and analyzes you. Some laugh, some try and (help), some make fun, some just stare, others just tell you it’s okay. Which you already know it’s okay. This is where you can chose to accept you are different or hate yourself for it. Ive stuttered severely my whole life 32 y.o. No one else stands out when asked the time or saying their name. I do, simply by engaging in conversation
