Question. Do you think you stutter trying to say “it’s okay” because it happens usually after an anxious and rapid moment, like somebody knocking over your water bottle? Because for me I stutter the most in those type of situations. If that is the case I would say try your best to take a deep breathe, stay in the moment and say the words of reassurance in that moment. If you do happen to stutter I suggest maybe telling the other person you are a person who stutters (or whatever phrase you’re most comfortable with). Think it might help with some of the awkwardness.
