Physical disabilities are visible and straightforward to deal with. You put in ramps, get a wheelchair, prosthetics…ect. You get instant sympathy and understanding when people can see your disability. Stuttering comes as a surprise and shock to most people and their reactions vary wildly. Its a different struggle but a struggle nonetheless.
