Your comment needs to be made into a thread! I have come from not being able to even utter my name to giving hundreds of public speeches and it all became possible because I always refuse to accept my stuttering being part of me. I always tell it "get out, this is not your property!" Well maybe not stressing about it too much is one of the first important steps. But as you said, the fact that most of us seem to over-romanticize stuttering and I've seen it became something like an organizational jargon something like that really makes me think if there's any propaganda or something here lol.
