Weirdly enough, In my whole 22 years on this planet, I also have never met someone who stuttered in real life when I’m going about my day or at least I didn’t notice it. And by this I want to say that if I were in your shoes, I would really try to seize this opportunity and try to befriend this person. You never know what may come from this. You might become buddies. Just don’t be to pushy about it, I guess. Perhaps when there’s a group assignment or something of the like, try to suggest working on it together so that you can spend some more time with him outside of class. Anyway, best of luck! :)
