Reactions to Stuttering I was just wondering how you guys normally respond to the different reactions people have to stuttering. I was presenting a case to my boss today and was stopped in the middle to get some "advice" on how not to stutter. I was told to "relax" and "take a deep breath" to help with my stuttering. This made me really angry as it seemed to down play this lifelong problem we have. If it was that simple, we all would fluent in a matter of seconds! On the outside I just smiled, nodded, and thanked my boss for his input, but this has been on my mind the whole day. How do you guys normally act in a situation like this?
