Hey, I had the same case several years ago. The best advice I would give to my old self is to go through it. You will stutter and anxiety will take over many of the times but at the end of the day, what you do matters. You will make friends but it will take time. Find something you enjoy yourself doing and keep doing it on a regular basis, so when you've had a bad day, it might cheer you up. For me, singing was one of the things I would do alone, whenever i had a bad day, I would stay alone and sing aloud to my favourite songs. If you find yourself a speech therapist, it's amazing and they might help you in many ways. And I hope things do as I never had the opportunity nor the funds to find myself one.
