I think anxiety is only one factor. There are other factors that can be involved in stuttering such as being conflicted revolving certain conversation topics, or your identity as a whole. There’s also old emotions stored in your nervous system that aren’t necessarily cured if anxiety in the current moment stops happening. Not to mention sometimes imposter syndrome can happen, in which you feel that somebody who is buff and tough shouldn’t stutter. Then you end up putting more pressure in yourself, even though you are less anxious. So it can be a double-edge sword. I think there’s more you gotta take into account. But yes, assuming you will feel better at least about your body and appearance.
