It’s really hard to attend your first support group meeting. It’s hard to put yourself out there. I was like that. I can also say that I was really glad that I did and it changed my life forever. Some groups have zoom meetings too, that can be a way to ease in if that’s more comfortable for you. You also don’t have to speak. There usually aren’t any expectations for these.
