>They told me that no one would hire me because of my stutter and I would fail in the interviews, which is correct. No no no no no! If your parents told you this they are wrong. Period. My stutter is pretty debilitating and I'm a very introverted person as well. Just a year ago (my stuttering was even worse than it is now) I graduated college as well and went through lots of interviews and job fairs. Sure, it was stressful, but I found that it helped a lot to mention my stutter right at the beginning of the interview and apologize in advance. This way they are aware and won't interrupt you in the middle of a sentence. I don't have a customer-facing job, but I very often have to verbally communicate with my co-workers, and I don't even try to hide it. Everyone I work with already knows about it since they work with me every day, and anyone else that doesn't know will figure it out pretty quick (which is for the better!) My point is, I am a living, breathing example that 100% contradicts the idea that you can't get a job or will "fail" interviews with your stutter. Never let anyone tell you that, even yourself.
