I fell for a really similar scam and was very disheartened because I was made to feel as though I didn’t try hard enough. I’d need to hear more about the specifics but if she goes into it viewing it as therapy that could help but won’t cure then I think that would be really good for her. I wish I could afford to do something like that again. The way her parents talk about it makes me feel sad for her though. They need to read up on stuttering.
