I've seen and been told a couple of things that have helped me: \- That most 'fluent' people aren't effective communicators. They're also fully capable of using filler words, stopping in the middle of sentences, talking way too quickly, not making much sense etc. \- That great orators usually speak surprisingly slowly while still being able to hold people's attention! This gives me permission to slow down.
