Mindfulness (observing with detachment) and cognitive behavioral therapy (restructuring your assumptions and thought patterns) helped me to accept what's happening, not make it into a thing that snowballs, and not focus on it. I had a therapist who helped me reframe how I think about stuttering and brainstorm some strategies. Of course, strategies are not their area of specialty but the cognitive behavioral therapy helped so much.
