Depends on the situation and the person you speaking to. Some people may be tolerant of your stutter. From my experience, most just act awkward and will try to end the conversation as soon as. They may avoid speaking to you next time. Stuttering has a huge disadvantage in your social life. May increase your anxiety, reduce confidence when meeting new people. In some cultures, people may see your stutter as a sign of weakness and would use that to ridicule you (Indian/East Asian/ Middle Eastern especially). In high stress situation, like work/group projects, people won’t stand the stutter. They want tasks done fast and effective with clear communication. If you stutter, people may say you can’t communicate efficiently or perform good and not that social. See it as a challenge in your life, something to manage.
