Perhaps two themes to ponder in the meantime: 1 - we do not wish to be _perfect_, because that's an impossible criteria. We merely wish to be _understood_ and to carry out the communication, whatever the sounds might end up like. 2 - stutter doesn't "keep us" from doing things. There are many things where stutter isn't even relevant. But even in the things where stutter appears, _that doesn't mean we can't do the things_. What _really_ "keeps us" from that thing is if we convince ourselves _that we can't do that thing_. A stutter is nothing more than a stutter. It's up to us to do what we want.
