I've had a somewhat similar experience to you, however different in many ways too. Same here, 22yrs old, only did speech therapy in elementary school, but i dropped out of it myself because i didnt feel it was working after years of public school therapy. I've always wanted to seek "real" speech therapy as an adult, but in reality I've never had the money to afford sessions.
