So I read what you shared, thank you for expanding upon your story. The thing about the self image is that it can lead us to a life we’re happy about and proud of or life that we really don’t like. It can also lead to somewhere in between those two extremes. But what you shared about your beliefs/thoughts. in my humble opinion, is very similar to a lot of people I coached on non-stuttering issues. Life happens to us. And our self-beliefs change based on the results we experience in life, which is very natural. And then the thing about beliefs is, they can be changed, and intentionally programmed. And in reading the book that we spoke about, it starts to teach what is the self image how to adjust it or program it for what you want and it’s just one of the tools to use to help turn the beliefs about oneself that you find no longer to be helpful for you.
