Gone from not talking in class to teaching a class!!! Big achievement for someone who has had a severe stammer my whole life and I’d like to share in hopes of inspiring someone else. I just finished teaching a class of about 10 kids about 12-17 how to DJ. I was asked to teach this class a few months ago and I was so close to saying no and I’m so glad I didn’t. I would have never thought this would be possible when I was younger but I put my mind to it and I frickin did it! The only thing that has helped me was genuinely stop caring what anyone thinks. I know it’s easier said than done and I used to hear it all the time as a kid but seriously when that thing in ur head clicks and you realise nothing matters apart from what you deem important. Whatever the f it is, you perceive the world the way you choose to and we have the choice to not give a f. Grab life by the balls, go talk to that girl, go ask that question, get that job, impress whoever. F that little thing in my head telling me I can’t talk. We’re so much bigger than that and we all have everything to offer to the world. A stutter could never define us. Peace and love to everyone It does get better
