Ask for feedback if you don’t get the job. You will often get constructive feedback to work on. I have hired a few junior developers and it has always taken me 6 or 7 interviews to find someone I feel I can work with. I would encourage you to built a GitHub portfolio of projects relevant to the jobs you are going for. I had an applicant who had trained an AI model to filter hospital data. That was great, the job was to write web applications. He was unable to demonstrate even a basic proficiency in Python. When I interview for positions I try to go in thinking that they would be lucky to get me, I don’t need this job and there is probably a better opportunity round the corner. For me personally, this mindset reduces the stress levels and helps improve my speech. Keep applying. Good luck.
