I say this with respect but your brother sounds like a jerk, he’s creating unnecessary problems just because he can’t accept a certain trait in you, a trait that you can’t control, a trait that does not berate others, honestly it’s showing a lack of maturity for a 32 year old so I’d try not to value his words towards you until he can get his act together
