How the hell do you bring up your stutter to people without it being awkward? Usually no one mentions my stutter, I think because they don't want to seem rude. It's just awkward because I've been friends with people were months go by and neither of us ever bring up my stutter. I always have not really liked talking about it and find it kind of embarrassing to bring up, but I think it's really awkward to be friends with someone for months and never mention this elephant in the room. I honestly just don't know how to naturally bring it up without it being awkward. The few times I have mentioned it, it seems to make people feel awkward, probably because I was awkward mentioning it. The thing is I really do want to talk about it with my friends because I feel more comfortable talking once I have mentioned it. Honestly I kind of just wish they would ask me about my stutter so I don't have to be the one to bring it up. I also find it really awkward when I stutter as I'm talking about my stutter.
