I dont stutter, my son does. He is 11. He attends an annual camp in the summer for kids that stutter. The first time he went when he was 7, he met an adult counselor who stuttered. I'll never forget the moment he turned to me and said "Dad! He talks just like me!" It changed his perception of himself and gave him confidence. He knows he is not alone in this world and that he doesn't need to fear speaking in front of others. Im glad you encountered someone who understands. How cool is it that it happened randomly in a class?!
