Signing and stammering

Signing and stammering Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone on here had any experience learning sign languages with a relatively severe stutter. There is an option to take an additional free language module at my university and, having had difficulty learning spoken languages before, I am considering choosing the BSL module instead. However, I have read and heard that stammering, being a neurological disorder and not just a problem with making sounds, can also affect one's ability to sign, so I was would be interested to hear anyone else's experience with this.
