Hi there. I’m in a very similar boat as a high school senior as well. For me, I’ve been trying to desensitize myself to my stutter for years (like someone mentioned above). It’s can be big things like giving a speech to my school but I think it’s about the small things like being willing to ask to go to the washroom or answering a question in class. It’s sooo hard, but it’s necessary. It’s gotten to the point where I feel ok with stuttering around my classmates. I guess the point im trying to make is to not let your stutter stop you. It’s so hard to take those opportunities but those are the very opportunities you need to take. Please, feel free to reach out.
