I have been told my my therapist that I’m on the autistic spectrum, and I stutter sometimes. I believe that being on the autistic spectrum does make stuttering more likely at least because it can make communication stressful, such as reading social cues, and can make focusing difficult. And being autistic I feel can also bring with it perfectionism so makes me want to say “all the right things”, which causes stress and makes me want to hold back when speaking Being neurotypical in a sense does allow ease and a general sense of social fluency, so in that sense, not being autistic, adhd, etc. can carry with it fluency while speaking
