due to my stutter i have a very wide range of vocabulary. but also due to my stutter i cant use much of it my speech therapist told me ages ago that long term stuttering widens your vocabulary due to how often we have to find ways around blocks/stutters (for example, using synonyms). its frustrating cos i have so many words stored in my brain but i cant use them. is there anyone else who relates?
