I had a classic stutter as a kid (repetition of syllables). Now it's speech/word blocks, which ever you want to call it. It flares up when my stress or anxiety does. I'll want to say something but I physically cannot force those words to come out of my mouth; I could say something completely unrelated to my original thought just fine or if someone asks me to repeat something, I can't. Nobody understands this.
