DAF and Choral Effect Good day everyone! So I have been researching quite some time about DAF and the choral effect and how it positively affects people who stutter, I even went on as far as trying it on myself and saw results! That encouraged me so so much. However, when I looked it up on here, a lot of people say that the choral effect eventually wears off and diminshes. Is that always the case? I am insanely afraid of being excited to get a device such as SpeechEasy for eg and using it in presentations or conferences or oral exams etc and then I suddenly start to feel my stutter appear again **while** wearing the device. I know there is no cure for stuttering but it genuienly scares me that one day my "progress" would be lost. I'm studying a major in university where I need to communicate all the time, and even in my future career, so I need some help to determine whether DAF/choral effect will benefit me in the long run.
