My manager at work jokes around saying he’s developing a stutter because of me so I asked him if he’s nervous about stuttering before he trips over a word. He said he does. This makes me think that his very rare trip up is happening because he’s overthinking it. I’m not sure about the rest of stutters but overthinking is definitely a huge part of mine. I’d suggest reflecting on your current situation in life and see if there is any new stresses/worries that might be triggering it. Other active things you could do is to slow down your speech. Forgive me if I’m wrong here, but my knowledge on ADHD is that your brain is going a million miles an hour. Maybe there is something happening there. Just an idea, sorry if I’ve gotten that wrong. Try not worry about it, and keep chatting away. Don’t get anxious about it because that only makes everything worse. If it gets worse, maybe call up the doctors. Hope all is good!
