Stutterers in high-power jobs? Hey I’m a second year in university, trying to sort out internships for next summer and trying to decide what kind of career path I want to go down. I study languages (how ironic) but I’ve dealt with the idea that no matter what job I do I will have to regularly speak and that’s just a part of it. I want to do well and I have a lot of goals so any high-paying job will obviously involve a lot of speaking. Does anyone have any experience in industry, like consulting, corporate law, or any jobs which require a lot of speaking or anything else!! Who has a stutter and wants to share some tips on how they deal with the rigorous interview processes/stress, disclosing stutter?, any other tips. I told myself early on I’m never going to let my stutter get in the way of my career choices but we all have our moments of doubt!!
