Overcome stuttering by using singing techniques?
Content
Overcome stuttering by using singing techniques? Hi, first post here! I'm 20 years old and have been stuttering since I was a child. I'm not really a severe stutterer, but it affects me every day. It's common knowledge that you stop stuttering when you sing. So is it possible to pretend that you're singing when you talk normally, and thus tricking your brain? Obviously, you can't walk around singing all day, but maybe you can find a way to implement a song-like rhytm to your speech. Has anyone tried this? You basically have to learn to speak all over again, and it may take a long time to master it, but surely it should be possible? Where do you start?
