I am a software engineer and It has always been an issue for me. Coupled with my accent, European or American recruiters always complain they can’t understand me. In fact this is the second most popular reason given for my rejection. I just got lucky and found a company that was willing to look past my speed impediment. I am planning to leave the company and start interviewing again but I’m so filled with dread and trepidation.
