I have had one as long as I could remember. When I was signing me up for school she wanted me put in speech therapy. I was in it for a few years then they told my mom I stopped so they took me out of the speech therapy. I started to stutter again and my mom told the school. They school told my mom "no once can start and then stop it doesn't work like that" since then I've always had a stutter. I didn't get put in speech therapy again until highschool. I'm in college now and I still stutter. People should be more open minded to research in this field because such little is known. Why it start, what's the cure. My speech therapist told me that literally 1 percentage of the worlds population stutter. So that's 78 million people worldwide if there is 7.8 billion people. That's sounds like a lot 78 million, but it's literally 1% of the population.
