Sudden stutter in 8 year old My 8 year old has just randomly started to stutter in the last day or 2. He has never had this issue before. What could cause this? He was recently diagnosed with adhd but we haven't done anything yet. He's not on any medication. No traumatic events, summer break did start a couple weeks ago but he's just been home with me and little sister. He was a slow talker so he did speech early intervention from 2-3 and then did speech again last year for a few months when some classmates had teased him for not saying a few words right, but he graduated from speech and they definitely never heard this stuttering. I'm at a total loss here. I asked him about it and dinner and he said he noticed it too and it was a bit frustrating for him. Any ideas? He has his 8 year old well child appt with his pediatrician next week so of course I'll bring it up then if it continues.
