I certainly don't hate my stutter. It is part of who I am, and has shaped the choices I've made -- I like my job, and my family, and if I was fluent I'd certainly be somewhere else today. Maybe I'd be better off, but who knows -- my sibling is fluent but much worse off in life, despite the same upbringing.
