Childhood stutter for my parents of I remember correctly, I still stutter, one of my siblings has a slight stammer very rarely, other sibling talks fluently. I am basically the only person that is really affected by it. Chances of having a kid that stutters can be higher, but it is still a gamble. Stuttering is not deadly and it can affect your life in very different ways, from not at all to a lot. It is also how you look at it and how the people around you react. It is up to you tbh. Like all conditions, it is mostly luck as well whether or not your kids will get them or not. I got the short end in everything basically, but hey, it happens. Stuttering, autism, ADHD and possible hEDS. Not mad at my parents for it, just how genetics can work sadly. Stuttering is affecting me the least out of all the conditions I got.
