I'm not going to tell you that it gets better, that cliche is for the birds......what I can tell you is that find a group, either online or in your area and join it.......meet others and help one another. I'm 54, started stuttering at age 5 due to a traumatic dog attack. I've had 20 yrs of speech therapy, hypnosis and now I do meditation and yoga to help quell life's stresses. I still stutter but at the age of 40, I stopped fighting it and just embraced it. There's a freedom in letting go. For others, acceptance is not an option and maybe a medical device, medications, or whatever you deem a viable option is for you, do your research and go for it. This is very hard but I chose to find ways to manage it. I'm a National Trainer and I travel all over the country training/teaching medical professionals in auditoriums every single month. I'm also a podcaster, YouTube Content Creator and a Voice Actor.......all with a stutter. You got this
