I was the first full mark on a presentation he's given in 40 years of teaching. BEST. PRESENTATION. EVER. So we had this presentation that is required for graduation, and we've been prepping for months for it. Just this week I was set to present to some moderators and my peers... It was a 10-minute presentation but my content was long - I could not afford to stutter. I got up there on that stage and SPOKE. Beautifully, might I add. Most confident I've ever felt. It was amazing. I felt like flying the whole time I was speaking. I couldn't believe I was actually *doing* it. I finished just under the time constraint. I finished the presentation and the moderators were silent for a while... then they both just said "wow." They both gave me a 10/10 - the first in the (short) history of my school and the first one of the moderators has given in his 40 yrs of teaching. I was literally about to cry. I'm so glad that all the prep I went through made it worth it in the end. If I can do this in front of so many people, I know I can overcome stuttering completely. I'm really optimistic about what the future holds. I've made it so far. If I can do it, so can you! I'm so thankful to have had a stutter in the first place - it makes experiences like these all the more worthwhile ;)
