I'm writing a book with a main character who stutters and looking for input from people who stutter in real life Hi, as stated, I am writing a novel with a main character who stutters and want to represent this as accurately and sensitively as possible. I've done some research, but would love to be able to draw on people's lived experience as much as possible. That said, what would you want someone writing a character who stutters to know? Is there anything I should avoid? Anything you'd specifically like to see depicted? Thanks!
