I don’t know if this helps. My dad has a blocking stutter. He worked as a cleaner for 35 years at the same school. 4am- noon. I actually asked him if it was a conscious decision to seek out employment with minimal interaction. He said a friend he had at the time actually pretty much got him the job, so he kind of fell into it by luck.
